The cotton we use is certified by Cotton and Cotton Leads, guaranteeing responsible agricultural practices, traceability, and more conscious cultivation.

This cotton is transformed into fabric in a Mexican factory with high environmental standards: they operate with solar panels and LED lighting, recycle rainwater for internal use, use heat recovery units to optimize energy, and send absolutely all their waste—from fibers to machinery parts—to recycling. The fabric is produced on looms, which allows for a purer, more artisanal finish.

Our fabric is raw loom cotton, meaning it has not been dyed or bleached and comes directly from the loom without additional chemical processes. This preserves its natural color, significantly reduces water and energy consumption, and maintains an authentic texture that is kinder to the skin and the environment.

For the fire pieces, the red color is achieved through hand dyeing with natural dyes in the artisanal workshop in Yucatán with which we collaborate. This low-impact process uses a minimal amount of water and brings unique nuances to each garment.

The organic and regenerative cotton we use comes from Turkey, from a pioneering family farming project that has been practicing responsible cultivation since 1993. This cotton is grown using regenerative practices that not only avoid pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, but also regenerate the soil, promote biodiversity, encourage CO₂ capture, and maintain living soils capable of better retaining moisture and utilizing rainwater. Thanks to this, water consumption is naturally reduced and the health of the ecosystem is strengthened with each harvest. Furthermore, it holds international certifications such as USDA Organic and Regenagri (regenerative certification).

The fiber is transformed into fabric in Portugal by a Spanish company certified as a B Corp, recognized for its commitment to transparency, traceability, and positive impact throughout the textile chain. The fabric is dyed exclusively with 100% natural dyes, eliminating the use of polluting chemicals and resulting in a purer, safer fiber that is respectful of both the skin and the planet.

Linen is one of the most sustainable natural fibers: it requires very little water to grow, needs minimal pesticides, is completely biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and highly breathable. This results in garments that are good for both your skin and the environment.

Our linen is processed in Italy, where textile tradition and specialized spinning and weaving techniques provide superior quality in terms of purity, softness, and strength.

This material arrives in Mexico via sea transport, an option with a lower environmental impact than other means of transport, significantly reducing the carbon footprint associated with its distribution.

We use Mexican buttons made from coconut, wood, and shell to avoid the use of plastics and synthetic materials. In addition to being biodegradable, these materials require fewer industrial processes and reduce reliance on petroleum derivatives, which translates into a lower environmental impact. Their natural origin gives each garment a more organic and unique look.

Our brand, size, and care labels are made from the same raw cotton fabric from Mexican looms that we use in some pieces, making the most of each material.

The thank-you cards and hang tags are made with recycled cardboard handmade by a great Mexican artisan and artist; the latter also include marigold seeds so you can plant them and give them new life.

Our bags are made with a bioplastic designed to minimize environmental impact. Unlike conventional plastic—which can take up to a thousand years to degrade—this material biodegrades in 1 to 2 years, even under less-than-ideal conditions.

The bags are recyclable and biodegradable, and only need sunlight and oxygen to naturally disintegrate, without releasing microplastics or methane gas into the earth. A more responsible alternative that accompanies and reflects the values behind each of our pieces.

This way, we ensure that we completely avoid the use of plastics and maintain a conscious process from beginning to end, without forgetting those small details that also have an impact.
